Dr. Hausammann, was born in Vienna, Austria but from a young age was raised in Boca Raton, Florida. Although Dr. Hausamann considers herself a Florida girl, she has kept close ties with Vienna and visits frequently. Dr. Hausammann earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna.
She joined the team in 2018 and focuses on providing a compassionate, client-focused approach to patient care. She is passionate about internal medicine, palliative care, and surgery, and focuses on creating individualized treatment plans that prioritize comfort, quality of life, and communication. She values the deep trust her clients place in her to keep their beloved pets happy and healthy. Dr. Hausammann enjoys treating a variety of species, from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, small mammals, and primates.
Outside of work, she loves riding and caring for her horse Luna, spending time with her cat Lucy and three dogs Oakley, Finn and Bear. She stays active through fitness and outdoor activities. She also loves traveling and spending time with her family.
